What our other clients often say?
Joy’s greatest strength is her uncanny ability to find just the right way to teach a subject that my daughter struggles with. When traditional methods aren’t working for you she can find something that will! Joy also adapted quickly to whatever behavior issue we were dealing with that day! When my daughter wasn’t in a good mood and talking too much, avoiding work, or when she’s feeling shy and reserved and didn’t want to participate, Joy found a way to motivate her! She also worked with me showing me ways I can continue improving my daughter's study and work habits. Her experience with the school has also helped us with IEP meetings and getting the right services for our special needs daughter. I highly recommend Joy for tutoring and any of your needs regarding IEPs! We love working with her! -
Joy helped our daughter in many ways. She was her case manager for special education. She helped us navigate the process of her IEP and helped us advocate for the services our daughter needed. Once we moved on to a different school, she continued to help our daughter as a tutor for math. She is kind, thoughtful, and compassionate. She is knowledgeable of the process and a strong advocate. She loves children and wants the best for each and every one of them
It’s fun learning with Ms. Simuel. If I ask for help she nicely responds to my question and if she doesn't understand me she helps me slow down and think about what I'm trying to say. She goes over things I get wrong and helps me figure out where I went wrong. My favorite thing is chatting with her and telling her about my day. She always finds fun things to talk about and asks me about my day. I enjoy working with her
She’s been my go-to for Joi to keep her above grade level! I don’t have to worry about Joi having any educational gaps.. she will find them and implement a plan to make sure she’s confident and prepared! If you’re busy like me but want to make sure your child is not behind… invest in a tutor that is knowledgeable, creative, and compassionate! You can do online or in person tutoring
